But you don’t have to call the number in that video link - I’ve got you covered right here, with my UFC Mexico City predictions. I’m hitting at a (blech) 54% clip this year (and 60% over my career - 2000+ fights!) picking winners for every UFC fight, so obviously, I’m a genius and/or a soothsayer. If you’re a degen and want to put some money down on the fights this weekend, here are my picks for every fight. Plus, I’ve embedded the MMA Gambling Podcast that I host at the bottom of the article.

Main Card
Brandon Moreno (-270) vs Brandon Royval

We get two rematches at the top of the card on Saturday night, headlined by two flyweight Brandons hooking it up once again. Former champ Brandon Moreno TKO’d Brandon Royval in their first meeting in November 2020 - I don’t see any reason why he isn’t winning the rematch, as well. Plus, Royval is stepping in here on a little more than a month’s notice, so he won’t have a full camp to prepare for Moreno and the elevation of Mexico City (although he does train out of Colorado, so that might be a moot point).
Yair Rodriguez (-140) vs Brian Ortega
Yair Rodriguez injured Brian Ortega’s shoulder the first time these two featherweights fought, back in July of 2022. Ortega hasn’t stepped into the cage since. Ring rust is a real thing, as is the fact that Rodriguez is a way better striker than Ortega. Rodriguez should win the rematch, injury or no injury.
