UFC Kansas City Predictions, Betting Guide & Podcast

Do you want to make more money? Sure, we all do.

But you don’t have to call the number in that video link - I’ve got you covered right here, with my UFC Kansas City predictions. I’m hitting at a 62% clip this year (and 61% over my career - 2600+ fights!) picking winners for every UFC fight, so obviously, I’m a genius and/or a soothsayer. If you’re a degen and want to put some money down on the fights this weekend, here are my picks for every fight. Plus, I’ve embedded the MMA Gambling Podcast that I host at the bottom of the article.

Reminder - grab a subscription to unlock this article, along with all of Money MMA’s articles, including fight breakdowns & DraftKings lineups for every UFC event, podcasts, fighter performance rankings & more—only $5/month or $50/year. Thanks!

Overall Record: 1608-1040 (61%)

2025 Record: 96-58 (62%)

Main Card

Carlos Prates (+110) vs Ian Machado Garry

Warning - this is a very chalky card in my opinion. But I am in on a slight dog, Carlos Prates, in the main event.

Ian Machado Garry is stepping in here on short notice, so that’s an X in his column. And Prates has the reach advantage, the explosive power and athleticism, and the fight IQ to get the job done.

Zhang Mingyang (-455) vs Anthony Smith

This is a glue factory fight for Anthony Smith. It’s going to be ugly.

David Onama (-175) vs Giga Chikadze

I don’t trust Giga Chikadze at this point - too much wear and tear, and he hasn’t been fighting frequently enough. I’ll take the younger, explosive David Onama, who is also a strong grappler.
