UFC 318 Predictions, Betting Guide & Podcast

Do you want to make more money? Sure, we all do.

But you don’t have to call the number in that video link - I’ve got you covered right here, with my UFC 318 predictions. I’m hitting at a 66% clip this year (and 61% over my career - 2700+ fights!) picking winners for every UFC fight, so obviously, I’m a genius and/or a soothsayer. If you’re a degen and want to put some money down on the fights this weekend, here are my picks for every fight. Plus, I’ve embedded the MMA Gambling Podcast that I host at the bottom of the article.

Reminder - grab a subscription to unlock this article, along with all of Money MMA’s articles, including fight breakdowns & DraftKings lineups for every UFC event, podcasts, fighter performance rankings & more—only $5/month or $50/year. Thanks!

Overall Record: 1687-1078 (61%)

2025 Record: 175-96 (65%)

Main Card

Dustin Poirier (+120) vs Max Holloway

You rarely get trilogy fights, especially when the same man won the first two fights. Even rarer is getting the winner of the first two fights as a dog.

So I’m going with Dustin Poirier here. He’s bigger, stronger, and should land the more damaging strikes in what will probably be a standup battle with Max Holloway

Roman Kopylov (-221) vs Paulo Costa

What a fitting co-main event for an underwhelming pay-per-view card. Paulo Costa peaked five years ago and has seemed very uninterested in fighting ever since. Roman Kopylov will punish his body and make him quit (or at least want to).

Kevin Holland (-496) vs Daniel Rodriguez

Kevin Holland is a different beast at welterweight rather than middleweight. He’s especially dangerous when his opponent offers no takedown threat, as Daniel Rodriguez doesn’t.
